• Describe the components of skin, its epithelium (epidermal cells with functions) and receptors

• Explain histological differences between thick and thin skin. 

• Describe histological basis of psoriasis, vitiligo, albinism, blister disorders and cancers of skin

• Enumerate and describe histological structure of various epidermal skin appendages

• Classify and describe glands that are present in the skin
